OTN Systems will present XTran at the African Utility Week 2017.
This highly successful event is the meeting place for the pan-African Power and Energy community, organized in Cape Town, South Africa from May 16 till 18. OTN Systems will present the presentation
"Migrating from circuit switched to packet based networks on your terms"
in the Demo Zone on Wednesday May 17 at 12:00.

Moreover, OTN Systems will participate in the panel discussion about
"Deploying new communication solutions" at the co-located event AUTC (African Utility Telecom Council). This panel discussion will be organized on Wednesday May 17 at 14:00 in the Breakout Room "Transmission and Distribution".

The paper titled "Application of MPLS-TP for transporting power system protection data" highlights the key technical characteristics of Multi-Protocol Label Switching-Transport Profile (MPLS-TP), and demonstrates its application for transporting current differential protection traffic.

OTN Systems, masters in mission critical communications, is pleased to announce that its MPLS-TP technology has been selected by Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA) in the United Arab Emirates for the telecommunication aspects of SEWA’s Project Tiger tender. SEWA is the first major utility in the Middle East to implement the MPLS-TP technology and will install OTN Systems’ XTran nodes within its network.
